What we build in Salesforce for nonprofit programs, from the first application to the final report. Every feature here is running for a client today. The names and numbers are sample data.
Badge-scan attendance, on the cohort record
Participants scan a badge at a kiosk when they arrive and leave. Staff see the day on the cohort record in Salesforce: who is in, who was late, who left early, and who never arrived.

Weekly stipend statements, generated from the punches
For programs that pay stipends or track training hours, the same punches roll up into a weekly statement per participant: hours by day, any infractions, and what was earned. Staff generate the whole cohort's statements in one step instead of building them in a spreadsheet.

A portal where participants see their own record
Participants sign in on their phone and see their own progress, pulled from the same Salesforce record staff use: hours and attendance, grades and a printable transcript, the certificates they have earned, and where they were placed after the program. Fewer "how many hours do I have?" questions at the front desk, and no second system to keep in sync.

Certificates, credentials and outcomes
When staff mark a participant as graduated, the completion certificate is created and filed on its own. The credential each participant earned is recorded on the enrollment and printed on the certificate, and job placements roll up into the outcome numbers funders and state agencies ask for.

Online applications that go straight into Salesforce
Applicants fill out a multi-page application on their phone, at home or at a front-desk tablet. Each page saves as they go, and the finished application is already a record staff can work from. No retyping from paper, no inbox of PDFs.

Forms and signatures, filed on the right record
Releases, acknowledgements, referral forms and new-hire paperwork, signed on screen. The signed PDF is attached to the right person's record automatically, and staff are told when a packet is complete.
I agree to follow the volunteer code of conduct, keep participant information confidential, and tell staff if I can no longer make a scheduled shift.

Volunteers, partner sites and event registration
Volunteers log their own hours, partner schools update their own details each year, and event registrations flow in without anyone copying names between systems.

Donation receipts that send themselves
When a gift is recorded, the donor receives a branded receipt with the right tax language, signed and attached to the gift as a PDF. Staff can still send or resend one by hand from the gift record.
Thank you for your gift of $250.00 received on October 8, 2026 toward the Fall Appeal. Your support puts young people through job training this season.
No goods or services were provided in exchange for this contribution. Example Youth Works is a 501(c)(3) organization, EIN 00-0000000. Please keep this letter for your tax records.
Program, fundraising and grant numbers in one place
Because attendance, outcomes and gifts live in the same system, the numbers funders and the board ask for come from one dashboard instead of three spreadsheets.

Website redesigns, wired into Salesforce
A fast, mobile-first site that says clearly what you do and who you serve, with the apply, donate, referral and contact forms feeding Salesforce directly, that costs little or nothing a month to host.
Every build starts from how your program already works
These are starting points, not a package. If one of them looks like a problem you have, we are glad to talk it through.
